SMS / Text Messaging Terms & Conditions

The 5200 Event Center booking notifications · Effective November 2, 2026

Program description

When you request a date, create an account or book an event with The 5200 Event Center, you can agree to receive booking-related text messages from us at the mobile number you provide. Messages include: confirmation that we received your request; approval of your date; links to review and e-sign your rental agreement and to pay your deposit or balance; payment receipts; reminders about signatures, payments, insurance certificates and the day before your event; day-of logistics; and, after your event, a thank-you with a link to leave a review. Referral partners who join our referral program receive status updates about bookings they referred.

How you opt in

You opt in by checking the consent box on our booking form ("I agree that The 5200 Event Center may send me booking-related text messages and emails…"), by texting us first, or by providing your number to our staff and asking for texts. Consent is not a condition of purchase; you may book by phone or email instead.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with your booking (typically 5–15 messages over the life of a booking). Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one final message confirming you are unsubscribed. After that we will not text you, though we will still email information required to complete a booking you have made. To rejoin, reply START or check the consent box again.

Help

Reply HELP to any message, email bookings@the5200.com, or call (614) 937-0000.
